The use of animals in many of our scripts is intentional as “a way in” to physical creation of characters. The use of familiar stories is link to emotional familiarity which allows the students to think “outside” of themselves. The production notes and educator notes are there to help guide teachers and directors through the process to make students’ experience fun and creative.
