The Princess and the Flower of Dreams was an assignment for my senior English class. We were tasked with writing fiction. I sat in the school library and channeled this story. It is the classic writer’s tale of inspired writing, where the book just appears fully written and I just took dictation. I know that’s what happened because I put my floppy disc into the computer to save my work, went to my next class and came back to print it. The disc was empty. So I wrote it again. Just as it appeared to me the first time, it appeared to me again. This time I printed it.
